Rustik Green Pedestal
30 West 10th Street, New York, NY
This project was designed by Hottenroth Joseph Architects and the product featured here is the limestone used, called Rustic Green, which is freeze-resistant and can be carved in large slabs. As you can see from the images, the stone is precisely cut to make the desired pattern, showing the strong technical characteristics of the stone.
The Sebastian
214 West 15th Street, New York, NY
Designed by Raad, the focal point of this project for us was the Grassi Pietre limestone wall in the bathroom. This limestone is extracted in 6 different color stones and combined with Terrazzo or marble for a wide range of finishes.
Private Residence
For this private residence what is on show is the incredible wood ceiling and especially, the massive stone fireplace. The architect wanted to preserve the natural roughness of the stone as if it had just been blasted out of the earth. This of course presented some challenges due to positioning and weight since the actual fireplace needed to fit inside and it had to be somehow capped. We worked very closely with both the architect and the quarry to get the exact pieces.
